After suffering a heartbreaking 4-3 loss to Arizona State in the second game of the College Station Regional, Texas A&M softball bounced back to secure a 10-3 win in an elimination game against UConn to set up a rematch against the Sun Devils on Sunday afternoon.
It is win or get bounced for the Aggies in their second matchup against ASU. To stay alive, Texas A&M must defeat the Sun Devils twice. The visitors, who are head coach Trisha Ford's former program, took firm control of the driver's seat with an impressive 8-0 run-rule victory over McNeese and the upset over the Aggies.
For the Ags to remain in the hunt in the postseason, they must make it through a Sun Devils' offense that has posted 12 runs across two contests in the regional, including six home runs.
