If you had told Texas A&M sophomore Kyndal Stowers at this time last year that she would become a national champion and the NCAA Tournament’s Most Outstanding Player, she probably wouldn’t have believed you. At that point, she was still fighting her way back onto the court after being medically retired during her time at Baylor.
Now, she’s adding another milestone to her remarkable comeback story.
Stowers has been selected to the 2026 USA Women’s National Collegiate Team Training Roster, earning a spot among the nation’s top collegiate talent. Training will take place February 19–22 at the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Training Center in Colorado Springs.
In addition to on‑court development, athletes will receive insight from representatives of professional volleyball leagues, giving them a clearer picture of potential opportunities after their college careers.
Stowers is one of 62 athletes invited to train and be evaluated in a high‑performance environment led by the U.S. Women’s National Team staff—another testament to her rapid rise and the impact she’s made since arriving in Aggieland.
