Texas A&M's 2026 recruiting class is finally receiving the national attention it deserves. With ten commitments, it is currently ranked 6th nationally, according to On3. Head coach Mike Elko knows that there is plenty of work ahead, especially with the upcoming official visits this summer.
While the priority prospect list is steep, 2026 five-star OL/DL Lamar Brown is likely the No. 1 player on said list, as he will be back in College Station this weekend before taking an OV in early June. If the Aggies can land Brown, a Louisiana native, over LSU, Texas A&M's 2026 class would be on its way to finishing as the No. 1 cycle, as several prospects have already received predictions to land with the Aggies.
Four-star wide receiver Aaron Gregory and four-star running back Jonathan Hatton Jr. are the crème of the crop in A&M's 2026 class. If their tape tells us anything, they deserve recognition as five-star prospects by the end of their senior seasons. Even more impressive, every one of the Aggies' ten commitments is a four-star prospect, and according to On3, this gives Texas A&M a 100% blue-chip rating.
On3's blue-chip system measures the four-star and five-star commits for every team, and without on three-star prospect, the Aggies earned a perfect score.
Texas A&M's Maroon & White spring game will be held at Kyle Field on Saturday, April 19. It will be streamed on SEC Network+.
