Texas A&M men's basketballlanded reinforcements in the paint Sunday, with Kansas forward Zach Clemence announcing his commitment to the program.
Clemence is entering his redshirt senior season after averaging 1.4 points and 1.4 rebounds a game as a junior. Formerly the third-ranked recruit in Texas according to 247Sports, Clemence is a San Antonio native who finished his high school career at Sunrise Christian Academy in Bel Aire, Kansas.

Texas A&M lost a sizable chunk of their roster after eight seniors graduate. In addition, former coach Buzz Williams departed to become the new Maryland head coach, leading Pharrel Payne and Solomon Washington to transfer with him.
Aggies coach Bucky McMillan still has work to when it comes to rebuilding the roster. His first commitment came from junior guard Jacari Lane. The Alabama State transfer averaged 17.3 points in 2024-25 — highlighted by a 16-point performance against Auburn and a 32-point outburst against Samford, McMillan's old team. Texas A&M reporter Tony Catalina also highlighted Samford center Riley Allenspach as someone who could fit in with McMillan's unique style of play.
