The Houston Texans have begun reshaping their coaching staff following the season, parting ways with multiple assistants across both the offensive and defensive sides of the ball, according to sources.

Per reports from Aaron Wilson, the organization has:


  • Fired tight ends coach Jake Moreland


  • Moved on from assistant linebackers coach Ben Bolling


  • Chosen not to renew offensive assistant Mike Snyder


  • The Dolphins hired assistant offensive line coach Zach Yenser

The tight ends position will get new leadership after Moreland’s dismissal. That role is often central to both protection packages and red-zone design, making it a key evaluation point in offseason reviews. Moving on from an offensive assistant like Snyder also suggests adjustments are coming in game-planning workflow and positional support structure.
