Add another name to the list of prospects who have touched down at NRG Stadium before the NFL draft.

According to ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter, the Houston Texans hosted Miami tight end Elijah Arroyo as one of their top 30 visits before the upcoming draft later this month in Green Bay. The 6-foot-5 tight end also has visits lined up with the Cleveland Browns on Tuesday and the New York Giants on Wednesday.

A second-team All-Atlantic Coast Conference selection last season, Arroyo caught 35 passes for 590 yards and seven touchdowns in his first full season with the Hurricanes. He was the No. 2 target for future No. 1 overall pick Cam Ward en route to a 10-2 regular season finish.

When healthy, Arroyo has been one of college football's more productive players. Over his 36 career games, he's recorded 46 catches for 753 yards and eight touchdowns while helping quarterbacks feel comfortable in the pocket.

The former Hurricanes star was unable to participate in the Combine due to injury. He's also missed over 15 games in his career because of different ailments, so the medical portion of the official visits could determine if he lands on certain rosters.

Arroyo is expected to be a Day 2 selection entering the draft, with a preference for Round 3 over Round 2. The Athletic's Dane Brugler has Arroyo as the No. 39 overall player on his big board and the No. 4 overall tight end, trailing only Penn State's Tyler Warren, Michigan's Colston Loveland and LSU's Mason Taylor.

The Texans are running deep at tight end with Dalton Schultz still expected to start after a down season. He's entering the second year of his three-year extension and Houston believes a change in play-calling from Bobby Slowik over to Nick Caley could help him get back on track.

Schultz headlines a tight end in need of a spark. Brevin Jordan is back on a one-year deal, but will be coming off a torn ACL. Cade Stover suffered a season-ending shoulder injury last December and was limited as a receiving threat. Should Arroyo head to Houston, he should compete with Stover and Jordan for tight end No. 2 reps before potentially taking over for Schultz in 2025.

The Texans own seven picks in this year's draft, including four in the top 100.
