Another name heads to NRG Stadium ahead of the upcoming NFL Draft who very well could be an option for the Houston Texans when on the clock at No. 25.
According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, the Texans hosted Ohio State offensive lineman Donovan Jackson for a pre-draft visit on Wednesday afternoon. Jackson, a native of Houston, won't count against the team's top 30 since he is a local product, growing up outside of Houston in Cypress.
The position flexibility surrounding Jackson's role on the offensive line, would help Houston collectively build an offensive unit surrounding its five best players. Jackson, who chose Ohio State over Texas and Stanford coming out of Episcopal High School, might be better suited at guard, but he held his own in 11 games at left tackle en route to the Buckeyes' first national championship in 10 years.
Should Jackson thrive in camp at right or left tackle, that would allow Tytus Howard to shift inside to left guard, thus shoring up the interior part of the offensive line. If former second-round pick Blake Fisher improves, Jackson should shift into one of the guard roles with Howard, allowing veteran Laken Tomlinson and former LSU star Ed Ingram to serve as upside backups.
It's expected that Houston will target at least one offensive lineman with one of its seven picks. Depending on the move, the Texans could secure Jackson and the long-term stay in the trenches and find a permanent home for the forseeable future.

Donovan Jackson G/T flex. Makes it look smooth at both spots. Don't care where he plays pic.twitter.com/1zxgZ7NPWK
