Texans game - halftime roll call

Reminder for those already in the know and a newsflash to those looking to meet and put faces to some of their fellow posters:

Many of us ASFN'ers meet near Section 121 at halftime.

North endzone - Gate 2 entrance - outside the glass doors you enter/exit the stadium through or use to go up the ramp or out to smoke in the fenced off area.

According to the official Cardinal website - if you don't allow plenty of time to get to UOPS, you may be just getting there at halftime.

There are at least 3 places on the home page or blog where fans are warned that a NASCAR event and a concert may create huge traffic problems en route to the game.

Cheesebeef was there, but not at the half. Ran into he and his little bro Bryce (sp?) before the game.

Saw BIGTONY (and his son) at a QT in Mesa, then raced across town on the freeway most of the way together. LOL

How was the traffic after the game with the Checker 500 going on at the same time. I know one year it took us forever to get back to Glendale. Bumper to bumber on 101 and 1-10 and the side streets.

I once asked Mike Bidwill if they couldn't schedule the Cards away that weekend but he misunderstood and thought I just wanted to go to the race.

I'm pissed off that I've not been at games this year. I'm coming to ASU-UA but there is no Cards game that weekend. Hopefully the SF game will mean something and I'll be there for that + any bonus games.

Kept hearing about how awful traffic would be before and after the game, but it was about the same or even lighter than usual on the way to the game and just a little heavier on the way home. Not a big deal at all, IMHO.

that was the perfect introduction to Cardinals football for that kid!
