Texans feature 3 players among the top 100 rookies in Madden 27

While a majority of the Houston Texans' rookie class won't be asked to contribute from the jump, that's not the case for the team's first two picks.

Offensive lineman Keylan Ruteldge and defensive tackle Kayden McDonald should expect to start this season. If they don't start in Week 1, it's not the end of the world, but the expecation after trading multiple draft picks to select them that they will see a majority of reps by the season's end.

So, where does Madden have the former All-American defensive tackle from Ohio State and first-team All-ACC lineman for Georgia Tech ranked going into the year?

Here's a list of the rankings below for all Texans' players, plus the 100 rookies going into 2026.

The game is still several weeks away from being released, but at least fans know what to expect when they're looking for the newest players on Madden 27.

The Texans return for the start of training camp next week. Veterans return for training camp on July 28.
