Tennessee parted ways with women's basketball assistant coach Roman Tubner following the 2025-26 season, according to USA TODAY.

He arrived at Tennessee on April 16, 2024 after being hired by head coach Kim Caldwell. Tubner went to the Lady Vols after serving as associate head coach, recruiting coordinator and defensive coordinator at Alabama from 2022-24. He was also assistant coach and recruiting coordinator for the Crimson Tide from 2021-23.

Tubner was also an assistant at Ball State, UNC Wilmington, Indiana State, Austin Peay, Arkansas Tech and Arkansas-Monticello.

He played at Centenary from 2008-11 and was a two-year starter and captain.

Tubner was hired with Gabe Lazo, Jenna Burdette and Angel Rizor on Caldwell's first coaching staff.

"I am very pleased to welcome our new coaching staff members to Rocky Top," Caldwell said on April 16, 2024. "It's an outstanding group of high-energy coaches that is gifted in the areas of recruiting, teaching, motivating, mentoring and player development. I'm so excited to get our basketball team on the court with this group and can't wait to see what we can collectively do as a staff to help our current players and future Lady Vols become the best they can possibly be."
