Tennessee baseball signee AJ Curry will turn down the remainder of the 2026 MLB Draft after going unselected in the first 10 rounds and play for the Vols, according to multiple reports on July 12.
The 6-foot-3, 205-pound Curry is listed as a first baseman, outfielder and left-handed pitcher. He is ranked No. 48 in the 2026 class by Perfect Game, making him the fifth-highest ranked signee in Tennessee's class and the top-ranked first baseman in his class.
Curry was one of 11 Vols signees who participated in the 2026 MLB Draft Combine. He entered the draft ranked by ESPN as the No. 180 prospect.
Curry, who is from San Diego, California, committed to Tennessee in November 2024 over Vanderbilt and Texas, among others.
