TE Sam LaPorta sharp in Lions camp

Detroit Lions TE Sam LaPorta has impressed in training camp. QB Jared Goff found LaPorta down the left seam for a big gain down to the nine-yard line Tuesday, Aug. 10. The next play was a touchdown pass to LaPorta over the middle, which has been common throughout camp. "He had a good play down the field (Monday) on third down and he's a stud," Goff said. "He's the same guy every day and continues to get better like they all do and got to find ways to give him the ball."

Huddle Up: LaPorta's ADP is at 87, and he could be a value pick once you get to the glut of midrange TE1s. He has yet to live up to his awesome rookie season, but he continues to flash the talent that put him among the position's elite in fantasy that season.
