Real Madrid midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni has signed a contract extension with the club, one which will keep him in the Spanish capital until the summer of 2031, according to reports from the Spanish press and Fabrizio Romano. The deal will likely be official after the World Cup.
Tchouameni’s previous deal was set to expire in the summer of 2028, so Real Madrid wanted to reach this agreement this year.
The French player bounced back from two difficult debut seasons and actually became a crucial player for the club last year, earning a spot as an undisputed starter in Real Madrid’s midfield line.
Los Blancos will now want to extend other players, according to Fabrizio Romano. Most of the attention will go to Vinicius Junior, who hasn’t signed an extension yet and will be free to negotiate with other clubs in January 1st, 2027.
