It was a strong weekend on the water for the Syracuse crews. The Orange men matched the women’s 9th place NCAA finish with a 9th place team finish at the IRA Championships in California.

Syracuse saw all four boats finish in the top 10 of their event with the 2V8 leading the way with a 4th-place finish. The Syracuse V8 and 3V8 boats both finished 10th overall while the V4 boat finished 8th overall. Washington won the team title with 284 points. Syracuse finished with 204 points, just two behind Dartmouth, Yale and Brown and only five points behind 5th-place Stanford.
