Fran Brown and the Orange picked up their 13th commitment for the 2027 class when tight end Michael Nnabuife from St. Frances Academy in Baltimore announced their commitment to Syracuse.

Nnabuife is a three-star recruit who is considered a top-50 tight end in the class by the recruiting composite, which is bolstered by his ranking as the #10 tight end by ESPN. He chose Syracuse over Alabama, Maryland and Kentucky.
The 6’5 250 lb Nnabuife told 247 Sports that he sees a great fit with how the Orange utilize their tight ends.
“I like the versatility the offense will have for me, being that elite gadget ‘Y’ tight end,” he said. “A role where I’ll line up all over the field and get me all types of looks with the ball.”
247 has the 2027 Syracuse class ranked 21st nationally, while Rivals ranks the class 35th.
