How’d he get here?: Committed to the Orange over offers from Miami, Indiana, South Carolina, Duke, Boston College, Virginia Tech and a few other schools.
2025 stats: Played both tight end and in the trenches on defense; unknown offensive stats, did finish with a total of 44 tackles, five sacks, and 11 tackles for loss in high school
Interesting nugget o’interest: Bashir went to the same high school as Scoop Jardine, who notably played for four years for Syracuse men’s basketball
