After two weeks of buildup, Super Bowl LX is finally here. On Sunday, the New England Patriots, Seattle Seahawks, Bad Bunny and thousands of fans who shelled out thousands of dollars for tickets will converge on Santa Clara. The Chronicle has dozens of journalists following the events inside and outside the home of the San Francisco 49ers.

Latest updates:

What time does the Super Bowl start?

Kickoff is at 3:30 p.m. PT with the game airing on NBC, Peacock, Telemundo and Universo. But pregame festivities and coverage have already started.

NBC announced Monday that the network will broadcast part of its pregame show from Alcatraz Island, according to the Associated Press. Hall of Fame coach Tony Dungy, two-time Super Bowl champion Rodney Harrison and co-host Jac Collinsworth will be on sight, and the coverage will feature a look at the island's historic significance as a military base, prison, and seabird conservation site.

The official Super Bowl 60 pregame show is being hosted by Maria Taylor, with Noah Eagle and Jac Collinsworth co-hosting.

Today's pregame performers will also include: multi-Grammy winner Brandi Carlile singing "America the Beautiful"; Charlie Puth, who will perform the national anthem; and Coco Jones, who will sing "Lift Every Voice and Sing."

Who will win Super Bowl LX?

We asked Sporting Green columnists Ann Killion and Scott Ostler for their predictions on who will win Super Bowl LX at Levi's Stadium, and why.

Ann Killion: "This Sunday is one time when I would like to overcome my lifetime aversion to flushing money down the toilet and put a wager down. Because I would be taking the Seahawks (minus-4.5), big time."

Scott Ostler: "My prediction here, that the Patriots will beat the Seahawks on Sunday, is more about emotion than analytical logic. It's based on the Mike Tyson Axiom: Everyone's got a game plan until they get punched in the face."
