I know this sounds crazy after one summer league game, but if I can't help but think that if we had just drafted Gary Harris instead of Ennis our backcourt would be absolutely loaded.

Yeah he was one of the players I was pushing for. I think a lot of teams backed off him when he measured out at 6'2.5 without shoes at the combine. But he would have been perfect in our rotation. Ennis has value though, it's not like we drafted Kendall Marshall. I'm still hoping we're trading him to Toronto as he should carry a premium for them.

Still, Ennis is only 19.

And I think he'll be a solid point guard, I just don't think it's an area of need for us. Given Toronto's apparent interest it just makes sense to cash in IMO.

That probably should have been a foul on Ennis but it was a heady effort play on his part.

Alec Brown...

Yeah he's a long way from NBA ready. But he has size and a nice shot (can't tell that today) so he's worth the gamble of a late pick.

Its already loaded. Archie is looking good and Green primarily plays as a 2. Its just crazy. And I really like what I see of TJ. Point a minute man like Ced was.

Yeah, well then we would have been even more loaded.

unless there was a medical red flag on Harris I still just don't understand passing on him. I'm not as down on Ennis as I was on Marshall, but at least when Marshall was drafted there weren't countless players still on the board I would have rather had. If people passed on Harris because these a couple inches short they are stupid. There are no big shooting guards that are going to take undersized defenders down into the post and abuse them anymore. It just doesn't happen.

Christmas has always had a problem keeping track of man and ball and he did it again today, for the loss. He tracked the ball and completely lost Holiday.

Actually I understand Ennis has been clutch finishing games. Too bad we could not have seen it.

Christmas was beaten on that last GS shot.

In a van...down by the river.
you and I are just not going to find anything to agree on today. That's a foul on craft all day long.

Joe

And will somebody please put anybody on holiday?

The rule should be changed when its a free ball and two guys fight for the ball and not against each other...incidental contact. Neither player should be penalized in that situation unless there's obvious contact directed soley at the other player instead of trying gain possession.

I've never liked that whistle.

Also, in the NFL that would not have been pass interference because the defender touched the ball first.

Welp that was entertaining at least. I thought Ennis showed some good things there in the 4th and am not sure why Curry was put in there at the end. Goodwin looked good. I am super stoked with Warren he looked awesome

Good Game: Archie and Warren

Alright Game: Len, Curry, Ennis, Harris, Christmas

Meh Game: Plumlee

Game Oh No Bueno: Alec Brown, couldn't hit nothing or even come close, he couldn't hit himself in the face.

Thanks for the link! I liked Warren's highlights.

Your welcome.

The thing about Warren, he does not remind me of Cedric Ceballos but he is opportunistic like Ceballos. He knows how to score.
