At least one player that I had on my radar later in the draft. Jerome can play point guard.

Another head scratcher? Would have probably been available at #32 as well... If they decided to add a 1st - why not swing big for a high risk/reward player like Nassir Little, Keldon Johnson or Bol Bol?

Because I think they are trying to put together the least athletic team in NBA history.

Did the Suns trade the Bucks pick?

I like the pick, he is a solid player and should be able to contribute right away. Really good passer, solid shooter, tenacious defender. Not a great athlete but I think he is skilled enough for it not to matter.

Hopefully a rich man's TJ McConnell.

Nothing to fear. They are going to sign a big free agent point guard and it will solve everything

Maybe but I doubt it. I'd have preferred to draft Alexander-Walker at 11 even if it was a reach rather than trade for Jerome but once we took Johnson, we needed to find an actual PG we could hopefully develop. I don't know much about him but from what I've read, he's a solid choice that likely would have gone late this round.

Nassir Little is the next Archie Goodwin.

I mean that in all the worst ways.

That's a good return for the Bucks pick. That thing isn't going to get better than late 20s.

Why does it seem like the Suns had no plan at all before the day began?

I'm more excited about this pick than the Cam Johnson pick. At least it's a PG and not a ******* wing.

I like Ty Jerome. He is a point guard I had slated to go later in the first round.

I would have preferred Clarke but this isn't terrible. I think Cam Johnson would have been available at #24 if the Suns had been patient.

I think Suns get Baynes as well. I'm beginning to like this even more.

So now we have Baynes who will be a backup eating up cap space we could have used on Russell or Brogdon. How is this helpful.

Why? Baynes is beyond useless, and the cap space we picked up by dumping Warren is now used up on two scrubs on expiring deals.

You are correct.

I'm liking it.

The Suns get a power forward (Saric), a shooter (Cam Johnson), a point guard (Ty Jerome) and cap space (Warren trade).
