The Pistons and Suns have identical records at 2-4 and both are on three game losing streaks.

Who would have thought this prior to the season?

Suns better come ready to play if they want to get back on track.

Just rest Book until he's 100

Booker is 100% playing this game. He's a Detroit kid and I believe it was strategic to rest him on the first night of the back to back to have him for the Detroit game. He'll want to play in front of friends and family while also compete against Monty.

I don't think this is anywhere near 100%. They did not hold him out because of a back to back, he is legit still having issues with the ankle, so it is quite possible he is out again today.

I think there is at least some merit to the theory. After all, today is Detroit and on Friday we have game 1 of the ludicrous “tournament”. Him sitting out yesterday might have been simply a precaution, due to a little bit of soreness.

Especially considering the team will have a few days of rest before the Bulls on Wednesday, and then the Lakers on Friday, this is a good opportunity to test it out with a lot of rest between games.

Apparently, Booker suffered the calf strain in the loss to the Spurs.

Maybe fans should start submitting their injury report after the teams submit their report.

It seems fair.

If these injuries are still happening after all star break then I'll start to get worried. This early in the season it just seems like the team is being overly cautious.

Booker is out with a NEW injury. Calf sprain.

These early season injuries are looking like the mother of all fears.

If Booker ends up as KJ Part Deus, that will be a crime against basketball.

The MRI is reportedly how it was confirmed Booker has a calf strain.

I think it all started with a toe injury.

On the bright side, Eddie Johnson says Bradley Beal is looking good, although he is not playing today.
