The Kings crushed the Sonics tonight 116-104, so now the Suns are the only undefeated team in the West. On Sunday, the Suns have a chance to sweep the Grizzlies, but may have to wait a while for their next game.

If you want something to worry about, the Suns risk waiting a week for their next game. Admittedly, it would give Nash time for his shoulder to heal and perhaps even rediscover his jump shot. None the less, the Suns have not really been that great after long layoffs this season.

On the plus side, the winner of the Rockets-Mavericks series could be pretty beat up. That series promises to get even more physical if that's possible.

I think health wise, a week layoff would help ALOT.

Nash's shoulder
Marion's wrist
and the teams other bangs and bruises.

I think that a week off would be great. The Dallas-Houston winner will probably be tired to a degree, and the Suns' young legs will be fresh. It would be a nice final rest before the long haul towards the championship.

I agree. The rest would do a lot of good with minimal risk.

I am not worried about the Suns getting rusty but I would like them to be rested.

1 week off is a bit long for a playoff series.

But it could help get their legs back, as running every game does its damage. it would even be better if the mavs/rox series goes 7. they are going at it full on and whoever the suns faces will feel exhausted especially towards the end of every game.

I think a week off is a bit too long. Their minds need to stay focused all the time and a week is just a bit too long.

But one thing good about this Suns is that they bounce back very quickly. We don't go into slumps for several games (excluding Nash's injuries) like some teams do.

Rest benefits Nash and Marion's wrist. :)

Yeah, a long layoff could create rust, but look at the other side of such a happening. The other team has played a lot more and has less time to rest. Each addtional game contains the possibility of injury.

I say, run all our future opponents ragged.
