Hopefully, rebounding is all about effort with Cam Johnson.

I've always thought he was built more like a 3, but Mikal Bridges occupies that spot.

Chris Paul talks about his new teammates Josh Okogie and Jock Landale.

The Suns players describe their game in one word.

A few examples: Ayton said "revengeful," Landale said "terrible" and Washington Jr. said "exciting."

Landale has a great sense of humor.

Suns have been working on players other than Chris Paul to initiate the offense.

I'm beginning to think Ayton may play with a chip on his shoulder. This might not be a bad thing.
Ayton should have played with a chip on his shoulder last year when he didn’t get the bag. Now that he got it and seems like he hates the team, you think he’s going to go all out for it?

I don’t see it.

I don't know what to expect but Ayton says he will do his talking on the court.

The Suns have him more involved offensively, so we shall see.

Bismack shooting form is just horrible but that's not why he is here. He needs a set up time for that shot of his. His rebounding and defense is what the Suns need from him and his character.

Talk is cheap. We all remember the revenge tour nonsense. I think the Suns might be trying to get him more involved play wise, but this is Ayton's year to prove he can be a bigger part of the offense. If he can't do it? I look for the Suns to move him in the offseason when he is eligible.

I'd like to see an improved version of Ayton. If not, the Suns might trade him before the trade deadline when he becomes eligible. Of course, he would have to approve the trade.

That's why he isn't going anywhere this year. Teams in the thick of a playoff race are not giving up anything of value and Ayton likely won't go to a perennial losing team midseason. My guess is that the Suns will have to wait until the offseason to maximize his value.

Monty has show to be incredibly stubborn so, I’ll believe your second comment when I see it.

So many things feel different surrounding the Suns this off season, involving Monty, Ayton and Crowder.

Maybe preseason will give us some clues.

Those are still his brothers out on the court.

I just think if y’all are expecting Ayton to bust his ass and play over what we’ve ever seen for the same team he’s pissed at, I think you’re going to be disappointed.

Again, if that was gonna be the case, wouldn’t we have seen a monster I’LL SHOW YOU season after they didn’t pay him?

Hope to be proven wrong but we have all come up with so many reasons why THIS season might be different to see that chip on his shoulder… fighting harder in Season 2 because of all the Doncic love… or coming out with a vengeance after getting suspended to prove who he really is… or not getting his contract extension. And that proverbial chip on shoulder monster never materialized.

What has happened is solid progression in his overall game each season. I expect the same here, but who he is aggression-wise is baked into the cake, IMO.

Deandre Ayton has been working on the corner 3-pointer.
