Ish's shot has been improvement according to the eye test. And even when he's contested. He coming along ok, he so strong he doesn't get out muscled like Bridges did during the Knicks game when the ball bounced right to him.

Might as well wish for unicorns. He was never going to lockup Donovan, all you could hope for is to make him work enough to tire him down as the game goes along. But that's the old Mikal. The new Mikal doesn't seem to be bothering anyone (except maybe Ayton).

I wonder what would happen if Ish Wainwright guarded Donovan Mitchell. I don't suppose his bigger body could simply wear Mitchell down. Mitchell would probably either outrun him or draw fouls.

Mitchell would be the first player ever with back to back 70 point performances.
