Marion would be at 60% if he'd give up his love affair with the 3.

I wish he'd shoot fewer threes because he is so inconsistent.

Last year Shawn shot 33.4 on 3'3 his career is 34.6, so he seems to be right in the neighborhood. Certainly he has improved from the start of the season.

Marion seems to knock them down every time the Suns play the Mavs. I think him taking those shots is better than him shying away an open shot for another shot that is contested.

If he makes them at 35% it's probably fine. It's not as efficient as going to the rim with the possibility of drawing a foul (35% on threes equals 53% on twos), but it's close, and it probably opens up his game. When his percentage dips into 30% territory or even lower, it's definitely a bad shot.

Marion doesn't like any physical contacts. Even if he goes in, he is still going to do short jumpers instead of dunking over people. I have no problem of him taking 3pt but I would rather have him getting the offensive rebounds every once a while.

Actually Marion's rediscovery of his mid range shot is one of the more unnoticed aspects of his game. He is very inconsistent from the three point line, but his shooting in the 15 foot range has been very good. With the way he jumps, his mid range stuff is very hard to block.
