Having 3 players on that list seems pretty unprecedented.
My theory is it's because Booker is double teamed far more than almost any other player - because it's more effective against him than most. That has a tendency to leave someone wide open.

Of course, but he's not the only player in the league that gets double-teamed.

On pull-up 2's this season:

• Devin Booker: 47.8% on 7.0 attempts
• Jalen Green: 52.3% on 3.3 attempts
• Dillon Brooks: 47.4% on 6.4 attempts

A key thing I've had in mind with Dillon Brooks' return is the shot making talent of the Suns 3 best offensive players.

With some of the coverages teams have been comfortable throwing at the Suns & how they've been defended, this shot is one each of these 3 can lean into as a viable solve — especially as they see more playoff-style gameplans.

And great coaching! So refreshing to see guys in the right spot, especially after the last 2 disastrous seasons.

Not sure. We need some momentum before it's too late. I don't feel we're favorites to beat the Clippers the way we have been playing lately.

Man.. what is up with the team..
Im kinda done with Brooks, you cant play him at the 4 with zero rebounding and he seems to think he is a poor mans Seth Curry with terrible handles and a black hole on offense. How about actually starting a real PF (Fleming) and keep ManMan in rotation. The defense has been utter trash with these small line ups

I was just thinking that as a teammate, Kevin Durant is probably the most unpopular player since Dwight Howard. Actual teammates and local fans of his current team, like us, can't stand Durant and eventually either want him gone, or feel glad he left, or both. Only fans who haven't observed him closely think their team should get him.

We seem to have lost some of the mojo we had back before the All Star Break. Yes, injuries....

We are destined, if we survive the play in tournament, to play OKC or Spurs. Those are the two best teams in the NBA, IMO, and we will do well to win one game against them. Two wins would be a phenomenal effort.

But, I am have to say I am pleased with this season. The last few years I was not happy with just making the playoffs. But this year I am. We actually have some nice looking young players and Booker is in his prime and looks like he can still play at a high level for another few seasons.

I know I don't post here a lot. But I am a LONG time Suns fan and follow them closely. That's for those of you who don't know me.

GO BIG OR GO HOME

that's where jordan ott and the phoenix suns are at - we've probably seen 30 different lineups/units and they've all been mid to small

this is what we usually see
1 center 3 guards and a small forward
1 center and four guards
1 center 2 guards 2 small forwards
no center - no power forward except for oneale

then fleming came and we finally saw what a power forward can do to boost our defense because size matters- length matters

you know why we're getting our asses kicked? because we can't defend the paint - when we over compensate we can't defend the 3 either - no defense means no easy offense for the suns - a doormat on one end and stagnant on the other

why has ott never ever once gone big? technically oso and manman were in at the same time for a few minutes once but that was back when manman was no where near ready

we have 3 centers again and rasheer fleming - DON'T TALK TO ME ABOUT OFFENSE BECAUSE WE HAVE BOOK AND JALEN

goody gets offensive rebounds and put backs at 6'3" because he gets to stay down court to defend the inbound pass and ball handler - when we go big that duty needs to go to book or jalen - i say when because it has to happen

GO BIG OR GO HOME - oso is also another one of our ball handlers- him book and jalen make 3

book and jalen - with fleming/oneale/dunn at small forward - with oso at power forward - plus mark williams - i think we'll score plenty but it has to be pointbook at the helm and jalen green can just score his ass off

we need to be able to go big in the playoffs- longtime phx suns fans are more than familiar with small ball in the playoffs but we've only kicked ass when we had a real power forward minus our recent finals run where we lost to a real power forward

GO BIG OR GO HOME - doesn't have to be all the time or half the time- just when needed

my big lineup depth chart

guards: book jalen brooks grayson oneale
small forward: fleming
point forward: oso
center: williams maluach

I think it’s important to maintain some perspective about the Suns this season. If someone would’ve told you in October they would be a 43 to 45 win team, hold a top 7 halfcourt defense for most of the year, and have *this* many players thriving in career seasons, that’s a situation you would take 100% of the time. Regardless of what happens over these next few weeks, this year was always a major stepping stone and foundational season for the team’s identity moving forward.

After All Star break best teams start to lock in and separate themselves in clutch moments.

Suns are 10-12 since that point and have lost some of the edge that put them in the playoff picture.

Need to get back to out working, out hustling & having more heart than opponent.

Quite a chart to do on April 6th. Sample size for April is 2 games. Not a good 2 games by any means, but you can't really derive anything from that chart other than we started the month poorly.
Still not a good trend. A smile curve going into the playoffs is the worst possible outcome.

Lindsey Smith and Frank Kaminsky, two of my favorites, covering the Suns.

Awesome that she's back in the Suns family! To Amanda Pflugrad's credit, she has been really good too and asks good questions.
