Sundown vs Shiner softball state championship score, live updates

AUSTIN — The Sundown softball team will look to repeat as state champion when it faces Shiner in a rematch of the 2025 title game. The Roughettes won that meeting 9-3.

Each team survived a three-game series to advance. Sundown (30-4) won consecutive games over Muenster after dropping the semifinal opener. Shiner (31-7) routed Como-Pickton 17-3 in the finale after falling in Game 2.
