Summerville currently not a priority for Roma
Crysencio Summerville stole the show in the Netherlands’ draw with Japan.
The Dutch winger scored the goal that made it 2-1, but couldn’t fully celebrate after the Japanese side equalized.
Roma has him on their list of potential summer signings and continues to monitor him, but as Sportitalia reported, he’s not a priority. Indeed, Gian Piero Gasperini’s main target for the position remains Mason Greenwood.
The World Cup could be an important showcase for Summerville, as it is for many other players. He’s leaving West Ham following the Hammers’ relegation, and his fee has been set at around €35 million.
The World Cup, however, could boost the value of the 2001-born player, who scored seven goals and provided five assists in all English competitions last season.
