Delaware 8, Jesse Burkett 7; Jesse Burkett 11, Connecticut 1: Darcy Molinari was 3 for 3 with three homers and five RBIs, Madysen Smith tripled twice and Ava Augusto was 2 for 3 with a triple and RBI, but Jesse Burkett couldn't recover from Delaware scoring six in the third and adding a run in the bottom of the sixth to earn a win in an elimination game of the Junior League East Regional in Wilkes-Barre, Pa.
In the first game of the day for Burkett, Molinari doubled, tripled and scored twice, Ava Augusto was 2 for 2 with two runs and two RBIs and Soph Delvalle was 2 for 2 with a run and also struck out three while giving up one run on six hits over five innings to send Jesse Burkett past Connecticut, 11-1.
Demetria Golsch singled, stole a base and drove in three for Jesse Burkett.
Senior League East Regional
Connecticut 10, Jesse Burkett 0; Rhode Island 13, Jesse Burkett 5: Isabella Franklin struck out seven and allowed just one hit - a double in the first by Jesse Burkett's Lily Golas - as Connecticut scored six in the second to record a five-inning win, 10-0, in the first game for Burkett in an East Regional game.
In the second game, Jesse Burkett's Kimmie Spellane singled, doubled and drove in a run, Golas drove in a pair and Grace Lawton singled twice, but Rhode Island recorded 13 runs on 15 hits to earn a 13-5 win.
Rhode Island 7, District 4 2: Julia Grant was 3 for 3 with a double and a run and Izzy Llanos and Mia Porcelli each singled and drove run runs, but District 4 fell to Rhode Island in an East Regional game.

Delaware 4, Oxford 2: Xavier Higgins was 2 for 3, Chase Reyes doubled and drove in a run and Mason Foskett struck out nine and allowed three runs (two earned) on one hit over five innings, but Oxford fell after Delaware rallied for three runs in the sixth to earn a win in the championship game of the Senior League East Regional in Bangor, Me.
Junior League East Regional
Lou Gehrig 23, Washington 1: Noah Connolly was 3 for 3 with a riple and three RBIs, Colin Dykas was 4 for 4 with a double, triple, four runs and one RBI, Jayson Ortiz was 2 for 2 with three RBIs, Matthew Roncka singled twice and drive in three and Cayden Storm singled, doubled and drove in three as Lou Gehrig recorded 18 hits and scored 14 in the top of the fourth to cruise to a mercy rule win in a Junior League East Regional game in Dubois, Pa.
Lou Gehrig advances in the bracket and will play at 5 p.m. Monday against a team to be determined.
American Legion
Hyde Park 9, Leominster 8: Post 151 rallied for three runs in the top of the seventh, highlighted by Sawyer Corbin plating two with two outswhen he reached on an error, but Hyde Park escaped the jam by inducing a groundout with Corbin at second to end the game.
Brendan Mariani was 3 for 5 with one RBI, Connor Moriarty singled, doubled and drove in a run and Cam Cirone doubled and drove in two for Leominster, which will face Milford in an elimination game at 1 p.m. Monday at Fino Field.
Milford 24, Northampton 5: Jackson Fournier was 3 for 4 with two doubles, a homer and three RBIs, Matt Pedroli was 4 for 5 with a double and four RBIs and Sam Scoenberg singled and drove in four runs as Post 59 had 14 hits and scored 12 in the second to roll over Post 28 in five innings in a American Legion State Tournament game at Fino Field.
Ben Maiorano singled and drove in three and scored three runs and Sean Vurchard singled and drove in two for Milford.
Futures Collegiate League
Bravehearts 14, Nashua 10: Jacob Malfant (3 for 6, 2 runs, homer, 3 RBIs) and Jake Yang (3 for 4, 3 runs, 3 RBIs, 2 BBs) led the top of the Bravehearts lineup as host Worcester (25-23) scored 14 runs on 14 hits and used a six-run rally in the seventh to rally from a 10-4 deficit and put away the Silver Knights (21-28) to earn its third win in a row.
Brayden Call was 2 for 3 with 2 stolen bases, 4 runs and 3 RBIs and Hunter St. Denis (home run) and Jaylem Sepulveda each drove in a pair for the Bravehearts. Former Oakmont Regional star Caleb Allen started for Worcester, going four innings and strucking out three while allowing two runs on eight hits.
