The Las Vegas Raiders are close to breaking for the summer, as OTAs will wrap up on Thursday this week and mandatory minicamp starts on Tuesday, June 9. After the three practices next week, the Raiders will have some downtime before the position and depth chart battles really begin during training camp.
So, we’re in a bit of a slow news period, but there was some good news coming out of Las Vegas this week. Nickelback Taron Johnson showed up to OTAs after missing the previous weeks while seeking a restructured contract (h/t Levi Edwards of the team’s website) to give us something to talk about, among other topics, for this week’s mailbag.
As always, anything Raiders-related is on the table and fire away with anything that’s on your mind.
