Ashton Daniels has been tapped as the savior of MikeNorvell’s run as the Florida State Seminoles head football coach. Daniels, a transfer from Auburn via Stanford, will be the ‘Noles starting QB in 2026. A six-foot-two, 220 pound three-star out of Buford, GA, Daniels played in 33 games for the Cardinal before his move to Auburn under Hugh Freeze.

While at Stanford Daniels threw 21 TD’s and 20 INT’s while adding another nine scores on the ground. Last year with the Tigers the well traveled QB threw three touchdowns on two picks with two rushing TD’s as well. Daniels is clearly loose with the football and completes only 60% of his passes.

The game we’ll film review is the 27-20 Auburn loss to Alabama in 2025. Daniels’ fourth game of the season saw him throw one touchdown with one pick (tipped) and suffer through almost double-digit drops from Eric Singleton Jr. (who dropped 5-6 balls of his own) and the Auburn skill guys.
