The Sting have made a flurry of moves as their roster starts to take shape for next year. The biggest move of the week by far has been the re-signing of veteran and crowd favorite 'Tiny' Mike Miron, the 5’10”, 265 lb goaltender played in 12 of the team's 16 regular season games and helped take the Sting all the way to the Champion's Cup Final. Other moves made include the signing of 2005 1st Round pick Matt Brown, and signing of prospect Andy Secore, who was aquired earlier from Calgary. The Sting have also resigned Jason Clark and Darren Halls, who were with the team last year, and the Sting have also aquired defenseman Andrew Guindon for a first round draft pick.

The Sting have also resigned Dan Dawson and Pat Maddalena, two huge pieces of their West Division champion team. Dawson was easily Arizona's MVP last year, and was a Western All-Star last year as well. He is quickly becoming one of the best players in the league. Maddalena was the teams leading scorer last year, so it is great to see him back as well.
