The Golden State Warriors are currently facing off against the Minnesota Timberwolves at the Target Center in Game 1 of their first-round series.

Both teams got off to a slow start offensively in the game as the Timberwolves led 20-18 at the end of the first quarter.

Golden State has been able to jump out to a lead in the second quarter as they have outscored Minnesota 20-8 to grab a 10-point lead.

Curry made a floater on the offensive side but was then seen grabbing at his left hamstring after the play, eventually heading to the locker room at the next timeout after asking out of the contest.

As Curry made his way to the locker room, he was seen grimacing, which is a terrible sign for the Warriors.

After some time had passed, the Warriors announced that Curry has been ruled out of Tuesday’s game due to a left hamstring strain.

He left the game after recording 13 points, one rebound and one assist in 13 minutes.

This is a massive blow for the Warriors as they will now be down their best player for the remainder of Game 1 and they will need their other stars in Jimmy Butler and Draymond Green, along with the rest of their core, to step up.

Of course, Curry’s status for Game 2 on Thursday night is now in serious question as the Warriors continue to chase another championship.
