Despite grabbing an early lead in the first half on Tuesday against the Minnesota Timberwolves, the Golden State Warriors were dealt bad news early in Game 1.

Early in the second quarter, Curry appeared to injure his leg. The All-Star point guard was grabbing at his hamstring area before signaling to Steve Kerr to take him out of the game. After exiting the game, Curry went straight to the locker room.

Prior to halftime, the Warriors officially ruled Curry out for the remainder of Game 1 in Minnesota due to a left hamstring strain.

When Curry left the floor with 8:19 remaining in the second quarter, the Warriors were holding onto a 30-20 lead. Before leaving the game, Curry scored five consecutive points for the Warriors with a 3-pointer and a runner in the lane.

In only 13 minutes, Curry scored 13 points on 5-of-9 shooting with three made triples in Game 1 against the Timberwolves.

With Curry sidelined, Brandin Podziemski, Gary Payton II, Moses Moody and Buddy Hield will run Steve Kerr's backcourt for the remainder of Game 1 on Tuesday in Minnesota.
