There's never a dull moment in the world of Caitlin Clark, where the Indiana Fever star always seems to be under a microscope.
Often times, that microscope has exposed us to the highs in Clark's young career. On Saturday night, it gave us a glimpse of a low moment, as the Fever were blown out by the expansion Portland Fever and Clark appeared to get into a heated altercation with head coach Stephanie White on the sideline.
In a viral clip of the spat, White appears to chide Clark, who responds not by accepting the coaching but defending herself and pushing back on whatever White said. White responds by appearing to sub Clark out of the game for rookie Raven Johnson, who takes Clark's spot on the bench.
It's unclear what exactly the spat was about, though Clark gesturing with her hands up suggests it could've been over her foul trouble. The 22-year-old was held to a season-low 22 minutes, finishing with just six points on 1-of-7 shooting from the field and five fouls.
