Jimmy Butler was forced to sit out Saturday's crucial Game 3 matchup between the Golden State Warriors and the Houston Rockets. This is after the Warriors ruled the six-time All-Star out just before tip-off due to a concerning pelvis injury.

Butler still joined his teammates on the bench, but he was in street clothes for the duration of the contest.

Even without Butuler's services, the Warriors were still able to score a pivotal 104-93 win to give them a 2-1 series lead. This was thanks in large part to another incredible outing from Steph Curry, who dropped a game-high 36 points, with seven rebounds, nine assists and five triples.

Curry spoke to reporters after the game, and he was asked to share his thoughts on Butler's absence, as well as the latter's eye-catching full-length fur coat. Curry could not help but take a playful jab at his Warriors teammate.

"I almost didn't need a hot pack on the side when I sit next to him," Curry said of Butler's outfit. "Plenty of heat emanated from him.

On a more serious note, Curry expressed how important Butler's presence was on the bench despite the fact that he wasn't able to play.

"But yeah, he's a savvy veteran, high IQ guy," Curry continued. "Got a presence whether he's on the active or not, where his voice matters and we needed him to lift everybody up on the bench and give us that energy. So his presence matched the fit for sure."

The Warriors will now be hoping that Butler will be in uniform for Game 4 on Monday. He might be a fashionable stud, but there's no denying that the team would much rather have him on the court more than anything else.

Butler's status for Game 4 is currently up in the air, but the Warriors are reportedly remaining optimistic. The next couple of days will be crucial for Butler and his hopes of returning for Monday's contest.
