There has been some speculation that star forward LeBron James could look to team up with longtime rival Steph Curry and join the Golden State Warriors in free agency this summer.

James is weighing several options after deciding to move on from the Los Angeles Lakers, and the Warriors appear to be on his radar at least. Now, Curry has finally broken his silence about the possibility.

Steph Curry would 'love' to get to play with LeBron James on Warriors​

Prior to a recent golf tournament, Curry was asked about the potential of James joining the Warriors and he said that he would "love" to play with the battled against in four straight NBA Finals from 2015 to 2018.

“I’d say more so I’m interested to just play golf with LeBron. We’ll handle the basketball stuff, but I want to see the golf LeBron free agent. He’s out here really grinding on the game," Curry said of James.

"But I’m sure we obviously would love to play together. I mean, hopefully it happens. But he’s deserved the opportunity and the right to take his time with the decision.”

It would certainly be something to see James and Curry, the two biggest stars of the era, playing together in the NBA.

However, it feels like a bit of a longshot at this point as the Cleveland Cavaliers, Miami Heat and Philadelphia 76ers have recently been reported as the most likely potential landing spots for James.
