Steph Curry was unable to suit up in the Golden State Warriors' Game 2 loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves on Thursday night. The former back-to-back MVP was forced to sit out the contest after being diagnosed with a left hamstring strain, which is now expected to sideline Curry for at least one week.

Draymond Green did what he could for Golden State in Game 2, but there's no denying that there was a lot of frustration from the emotional Warriors veteran throughout the game as the Wolves blew them out from pretty much start to finish.

So much so that Green was called for a technical foul in the second quarter of the game after an altercation with Wolves big man Naz Reid. Green hit Reid on the head with an elbow, which, upon review, warranted a technical foul on the former Defensive Player of the Year.

Green was incensed after learning about the referees' decision, and the outspoken star made sure to make his feelings about it abundantly clear.

Curry approached Green during the heated moment as the former tried to calm his teammate down. Curry's behavior captured the attention of commentator Stan Van Gundy, who shared his reaction to the brief conversation between Curry and Green.

"Steph Curry now, trying to calm him down," Van Gundy said. "Draymond making his case. Steph understands."

Curry's words did little to calm Green down, though, which led to coach Steve Kerr having to take the latter out of the game.

"They're going to get Jimmy Butler back in the game for Draymond and try and get him away from the officials," Van Gundy said on the broadcast.

NBA on TNT analyst Charles Barkley also could not help but call Green out for his behavior. Barkley pointed out that Curry had already gone out of his way to try and deescalate the situation, which didn't do much in terms of Green calming down.

This series now shifts to the Bay Area for Games 3 and 4 on Saturday and Monday, but the Warriors will need to try and win at home without their best player available.
