The Pittsburgh Steelers have placed wide receiver A.T. Perry on waivers, per the NFL transaction wire. Additionally, the Steelers have also released tight end J.J. Galbreath.

Perry had been having a solid camp, being a consistent target of Drew Allar during team periods. He hasn’t appeared in a regular season game since 2023 when he appeared in 10 games with the New Orleans Saints, catching 12 passes for 246 yards and four touchdowns. He signed a futures contract with the Steelers in January.

Galbreath has yet to appear in a regular season game. In his final collegiate season in 2024 at South Dakota, he caught 32 passes and four touchdowns.

The Steelers will host their annual night practice at Latrobe Memorial Stadium on Saturday night as they continue to gear up for their first preseason game against the Green Bay Packers on August 13.
