Pittsburgh’s choice to select Iheanachor in the first round, along with additional help for the offensive line later on, was a clear sign they couldn’t afford to wait for more answers. While it doesn’t close the door on Jones’ future with the team, it certainly shifts how much influence he holds within it.

There’s more to this than just one player​
