Less than a week before training camp, the Pittsburgh Steelers have put one of the most concerning storylines to bed: the Drew Allar contract drama.

On Friday, the Steelers announced the signing of Allar to his four-year rookie contract, and the timing couldn't have been better, as Allar was one of two unsigned rookie quarterbacks before Friday's exciting news.

Allar, selected by the Steelers with the 76th overall pick in the third round of the 2026 NFL Draft, was believed to have been embroiled in a contract stalemate over guaranteed money, the signing bonus payout timeline, or even potentially offset language. Whatever it was, we're just glad the situation is finally behind both sides, and Allar can gear up for an exciting training camp.

With Allar signed to his rookie contract, all eyes turn toward the Los Angeles Rams, who face a similar contract dilemma with rookie first-round quarterback Ty Simpson.
