The Pittsburgh Steelers completed their first head coach interview as their search to find Mike Tomlin’s successor continues.

Sports Illustrated’s Albert Breer reported that Los Angeles Rams defensive coordinator Chris Shula completed his virtual interview with the Steelers, Baltimore Ravens, Miami Dolphins, Las Vegas Raiders, and Arizona Cardinals.

Rams defensive coordinator Chris Shula wound up doing five HC interviews—he met with the Steelers, Ravens, Dolphins, Raiders and Cardinals. He'd gotten seven requests. And the three Rams assistants (Shula, Mike LaFleur, Nate Scheelhaase) did a total of 11 interviews.

This marks the first known completed interview of the growing list of requests, which includes Minnesota Vikings defensive coordinator Brian Flores, San Francisco 49ers offensive coordinator Klay Kubiak, among others.

Additionally, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that the Steelers are expected to speak with former Dallas Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy, a Pittsburgh native, regarding the coaching vacancy.
