Heading into the 2026 NFL Draft, the Pittsburgh Steelers could once again look to shore up their defensive line early, and one second-to-third round prospect would be an ideal fit.

Look no further than Florida Gators defensive tackle Caleb Banks, a massive and versatile prospect who could be available when the Steelers make their selections on Day 2-3.

Here is a look at Banks' scouting report, which contains his bio, strengths, concerns, stats, and highlights.

Caleb Banks, DT, Florida​

  • Height: 6 feet 6 inches
  • Weight: 327 pounds
  • 40-yard dash: 5.04 seconds
  • Projection: Mid-second round

Strengths​

  • Massive frame
  • Excellent use of long arms (35") to defeat blocks
  • Great first-step quickness for his size
  • Solid motor
  • Versatility to play across the defensive line

Concerns​

  • Injury concerns (fractured foot in 2025 and at the NFL combine)
  • Pass-rush move repertoire needs improvement
  • Inconsistent production
