State of Decay Re-release on Xbone

Always wanted to try it but never did, it ended up winning a bunch of awards and has been ported to xbone to release tomorrow. I have already pre ordered it. It is a survival game like the walking dead TV show. Should be awesome. It is $30 i believe.

I plan on binge-ing this game during the week my wife is out of town in June. Cant wait.

I do not believe there was ever a disc, it is an arcade game. it should be less than 20 bucks and might be even less on your arcade store right on xbox.

the xbox version may have more features and etc though, I would check the xbox store first and foremost. I would not be surprised if it goes on sale also now that th enew one releases tomorrow on next gen.

found it on xbox, same price. then the two add ons are 7 each making the complete version $34 while the brand new complete upgraded version is $30 on xbone.

I would hold off, the 360 price HAS to be coming down. That or watch major nelson when he posts the weekly specials and look for a 50% off state of decay sale. there is no reason it should cost more on the older console.

tried this out for about 20 - 30 minutes last night. seems like a lot of fun. I washed up on a beach from a camping trip or something and got attacked by zombies. Not knowing what is going on you end up finding a cabin with people in it, they send you on a mission to look for survivors and seem to have an understanding of what is going on as you have no idea, it wasnt like this before you left town.

You climb a water tower and scan the area with binoculars and it marks stuff you find on the map like campsites, general stores, vehicles and etc.

As you go through campsites you can rummage quietly or hold LB and rummage faster but it makes noise. I coudlnt imagine it was much noise and was moving quickly and suddenly me and the one guy with me were fighting off like 20 zombies in a little cabin.

You do get bit and survive but I guess they have to do it that way, cant just die every time a zombie gets you.

So far its cool. I dont want to say what happened next as its a spoiler, even tho it is a very beginning of the story spoiler.

I few buttons I don't like but it feels great. I am still getting used to them and only have hand held weapons so far but it feels good. its an arcade game, not a $60 blockbuster title. Even still, I like it a lot so far with my limited sample.
