Sunrisers Hyderabad will take on Rajasthan Royals on Wednesday in an IPL 2026 Eliminator on Wednesday evening at Mullanpur.
Royals captain Riyan Parag is not fully fit as he is dealing with a hamstring problem that forced him to sit out an earlier league fixture.
He admitted he was not originally supposed to feature in RR's final group game against Mumbai Indians either, but played through it.
Ravindra Jadeja is also struggling with a similar injury, and he came on as an Impact Player against Mumbai, batted at number nine, and sent down two overs for 24 runs without a wicket.
SRH carry no such concerns into the game. The only selection question on their end is whether Harshal Patel or Praful Hinge gets the final bowling spot.
Both franchises are chasing only their second IPL championship. SRH last won the title a decade ago. Whereas, RR's solitary triumph came in the very first edition of the tournament back in 2008. And only one of them gets to keep going on Wednesday night.
