Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly advancing in talks to sign Aston Villa youngster Heaven Kilwa. The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium club are always looking to recruit the best teenagers in the land, and the 16-year-old winger has emerged as a target. The highly-rated Kilwa was set to join Manchester City, but Spurs are now favourites to sign the teenage sensation. The Lilywhites target rejected scholarship terms at Aston Villa after his contract expired last month – the only player in his age group to do so.
The England youth international joined the academy of the Midlands club from Coventry City in 2021. Kilwa featured for their under-18s six times, scoring twice, and Tottenham believe they have a chance of pipping Man City to one of the best youngsters in the land. His exit from Villa is seen as a huge blow, but they will receive training compensation from any club he eventually joins.
