Michigan State basketball will reportedly host an elite-level center for an official visit in early September.
Jaydn Jenkins of Warminster, Pa. announced Michigan State among his top five schools list on Saturday, and it was later revealed that he'll be taking an official visit to the school in a few months. According to Sam Kayser of League Ready, Jenkins will take a visit to Michigan State on September 10.
The other four schools Jenkins is considering are Xavier, Georgetown, Ohio State and NC State. All of those four schools will also be hosting him for a visit later this fall.
Jenkins is listed as a high four-star prospect, with a recruiting rating of 98.24 in 247Sports' composite system. He ranks as the No. 6 center and No. 42 overall prospect in the 2027 class, according to 247Sports.
It's clear Michigan State is one of the favorites to land this big-time talent in Jenkins. Getting him on campus in early September should only help the Spartans chances in winning this important recruiting battle as well.
