Michigan State is one of six schools in the mix for a big-time tight end prospect from Maryland.
Michael Nnabuife of Baltimore announced his "top six" schools list on Friday, which featured Michigan State alongside a list of five other major programs. According to a post from Nnabuife, Michigan State joined by Alabama, Florida, Maryland, Syracuse and NC State in his top six schools list.
Nnabuife is currently an unranked prospect on 247Sports but is self-claimed as the No. 1 tight end in Maryland in the 2027 class. He plays for St. Frances Academy, and is listed at 6-foot-5 and 242 pounds.
Michigan State extended Nnabuife an offer in April, and is one of eight schools to offer him, according to 247Sports. He also holds offers from Alabama, Maryland, Pitt, South Carolina, UConn, USF and UTEP.
