2025 spring sports moments countdown What are the top Somerset County sports moments of the 2025 spring season?

Swaim and Kissell had plenty of time to throw the ball. Somerset's Zane Hagans and Windber's Ryan Grohal were two of the players providing plenty of time for the quarterbacks to scan the field. Hagans earned offensive line MVP for the South.

"Everyone on our team got along and had fun at practice together," said Hagans. "We came out here, and everyone was just ready to play the game. We just got after it."

It was a memorable week for Hagans, who will play baseball at Division II Walsh University.

"It is something special to come out here and play a game with guys you've gone against for four years," Hagans said. "You don't get something like that from anywhere else and just getting to come out and play the game one last time and go out on a high note."

The South led 14-0 after one on a 3-yard touchdown run by Swaim and a 2-yard plunge by Central Cambria's Grady Snyder.

The South led 14-7 at the break.

Kissell connected with Hollidaysburg's Brady Steiner for a 28-yard TD strike down the sideline to extend the South's lead to 21-7 with 8:02 to go in the third.

Kissell also delivered a perfectly place ball to Northern Cambria's Ty Dumm that went for a 66-yard touchdown.

North Star's Ethan Smith helped set up a North touchdown in the fourth. Smith hauled in a 45-yard pass, leading to a Gavin Harrold 3-yard run.

Kissell found Swaim to put the game out of reach with 6:45 to go. Bishop Guilfoyle's Michael Cacciotti added a 33-yard field goal to set the final.

Marion Center's Noah McCoy had two picks for the South. Windber's Lucas Oleksa added a sack.

Zander Ritenour of Rockwood, who competes in a co-op with Berlin Brothersvalley, had a pick for the North.
