Sophie Cunningham returned from the WNBA All-Star break looking like she had not taken a single day off. Before the Indiana Fever resumed their season against the Seattle Storm on Tuesday, Cunningham made another memorable entrance at Climate Pledge Arena. The veteran guard showed off her chiseled abs in a striking pregame outfit that quickly gained attention across social media.
Athlete Vanity shared photos of Cunningham’s arrival on X, adding only a brief caption.
“Sophie Cunningham ,” the account wrote.
The understated message allowed Cunningham’s confident look to speak for itself.

Sophie Cunningham delivers in Fever’s victory
Cunningham did more than make an impression before the game. The 29-year-old guard scored 11 points in Indiana’s 103-93 victory over Seattle, helping the Fever extend their winning streak to four games. She knocked down three 3-pointers and provided important scoring support during a night that became more challenging after Aliyah Boston exited with a right knee injury.
Caitlin Clark led the Fever with 32 points, seven assists and four rebounds. Kelsey Mitchell contributed another 28 points as Indiana’s backcourt overwhelmed the Storm. Boston scored 11 points in only 11 minutes before getting tangled with Seattle rookie Flau’jae Johnson and falling hard on her knee. She was initially listed as questionable to return but remained out for the second half as a precaution.
Cunningham expressed optimism about her teammate during a halftime interview, saying she believed Boston was “going to be okay.” Indiana coach Stephanie White later explained that bringing Boston back was not worth the risk.
“No update other than, you know, wasn’t really worth the risk for us in the second half,” White said. “Just want to be very conservative and make sure that she’s good to go.”

Cunningham brings fashion and fire to Indiana
Tuesday’s performance offered another example of why Cunningham has become such a popular figure in Indiana. Her fearless personality and physical style have made her a natural fan favorite.
