Going to the Well(s) one more time

From the e-mails I receive and the message boards I read, there is a solid core of fans that don't think much of Cardinals left guard Reggie Wells.

But coaches believe he was their most consistent offensive lineman last year. And Dennis Green's staff thought the same thing. So if the Cardinals acquire a starter in free agency, say Alan Faneca, Wells is still going to be a starter.

Again, if the Cardinals obtain Faneca, look for Wells to move to right guard with Deuce Lutui moving to the backup role. It's not that coaches were unhappy last year with Lutui, although he was inconsistent at times. He's still young and has a ton of ability. They just think Wells is better.

But all of that is unlikely to happen. The Cardinals probably won't be able to sign Faneca, and the starting offensive line would return intact.

What ever happened to the ASK A COACH corner (or whatever it was called) where fans could ask Russ Grimm specific questions (I wasted an opportunity and made a mustache joke last time)?

I'd like to know what exactly makes Wells good and what we, the fanbase, are misinterpreting.

The same things that made LDavis a Tackle and Rolle a CB. :D

Seriously though, the things I like so far are using Pace as an OLB in the hybrid 3-4 and moving Rolle to Safety to replace Holt.

Deuce

I agree with EnFuego's stance, although I like Deuce better as an OG. But what do I know, I'm just a fan.
